Innovation & Partnerships Lead (Full-Time / Part-Time [≥ 21 hours/week])
The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic Innovation & Partnerships Lead who is creative, innovative, and resourceful to join and expand our passionate team.
Reporting directly to the Executive Director and working closely with our Board of Directors and Advisory Board, this management role is central to advancing the effectiveness and scale of our programmes while developing strategic partnerships that benefit both fundraising and organisational development. The I&P Lead is expected to have a strong grasp of our Christian mission to love our neighbours as ourselves and to be passionate about representing this mission as they implement it in our work.
The successful candidate will be well-versed in the principles and practices of education, diversity and inclusion, business development, and communications. They will be an accomplished communicator with strong verbal and written skills, excelling at cultivating and sustaining relationships. Results-oriented, a strategic thinker, a strong team player, and adaptable, the I&P Lead will be willing to wear multiple hats while ensuring that our core values are at the heart of all initiatives.
This role offers significant growth potential, with the opportunity to exercise creativity without limits. Notably, the I&P Lead can expect to join the senior leadership team within two years, providing a clear pathway for professional advancement and greater impact within CantoGather.
Essential Responsibilities
Partnerships and Organisational Development (50%)

Develop and execute CantoGather’s partnerships strategy, leading CantoGather to reach new milestones of development

Support the Executive Director to build relationships with CantoGather’s existing and new connections to fortify and grow CantoGather’s influence in relevant social issues

Represent CantoGather at industry events, work groups, and organizational development meetings and pitches

Other duties as assigned.​
Innovation (50%)

Develop and execute strategies for building and maintaining a prospective project development pipeline for CantoGather

Develop and submit proposals on new projects that aligns with CantoGather’s vision, mission and values

Working with the Programme Manager and Programme Officers to advance the impact of existing programmes through curriculum and delivery method reviews and modifications

Working with the Board of Directors, Advisory Board, and the Executive Director to advance CantoGather’s organisational structure and fuel development
Who We Are Looking For

Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in any discipline, with a keen adaptability and curiosity for new information.

Relevant Experience: Experience related to education and/or diversity and inclusion, with 3+ years of successful experience in innovation and partnerships at non-profits, social enterprises, or advisory-driven organisations.

Programme Development and Fundraising: Demonstrated insightful understanding of programme development, partnerships, and fundraising, along with strong relationship-building skills. Grant writing experience is a plus.

Effective Communicator: Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent our Christian mission effectively.

Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, with a basic understanding of using AI and prompt engineering in the workplace.

Long-Term Commitment: A desire to stay with CantoGather for the long term, contributing to our mission and growth as we work together to love our neighbours as ourselves.
